Navagraha – Planetary Consciousness Yoga

What is Navagraha?

Navagraha means “Nine Forces of Light”. They are planetary beings of consciousness which, in Yogic and Vedic traditions, are not merely regarded as celestial bodies, but as
divine energies influencing the mind, body, emotions, karma, and spiritual path of humanity.

Master Mitrah’s signature Navagraha yoga teaches how to enter into conscious contact with them,
how to recognize their influences in one’s life, and how to engage in conscious dialogue with them.

The nine planets are nine living powers:
☉ Sun – Soul, consciousness, willpower
☽ Moon – Mind, emotions, subconscious
♂ Mars – Energy of action, courage, fire
☿ Mercury – Intellect, communication, speech
♃ Jupiter – Wisdom, expansion, spiritual development
♀ Venus – Love, beauty, relationships, sensuality
♄ Saturn – Karma, time, discipline, soul lessons
☊ Rahu – Illusion, desires, transformation
☋ Ketu – Liberation, detachment, enlightenment

What does the practice of Navagraha yoga involve?

During a session, the participant enters a deep process of:

  • special planetary asanas, activating specific energies in the body,
  • breathing techniques (pranayama) opening energetic channels,
  • planetary mantras, which are vibrational codes for communicating with specific energies,
  • mudras and bandhas, directing the flow of prana,
  • meditations and visualizations, enabling direct contact with the divine form of the planet. Each planet has its own distinct sequence, rhythm, sound, color, and field of consciousness.

It is a practice that:

  • cleanses karma,
  • harmonizes destiny,
  • heals relationships,
  • strengthens life force,
  • opens the heart,
  • stabilizes the mind,
  • restores contact with one’s own destiny.
